I heard a lot about Sophie Anderson's books and the bookclub "A Touch of Whimsy" which I'm a new member of it decided to read this book for February because it's a club that focuses on middle grade literature that I also enjoy.
Well,I just finished this book and it was so nice and beautiful and my only thought now is to read Sophie's other books. I love any book or story that is inspired by Old Russian folklore. This book was a great discovery and I enjoyed reading pretty much. I could not put it down, it was so magical and interesting with all the messages in it.
This story is about finding your courage, believing in yourself, helping the others and forgiving. It's mainly about the importance of family, friendship and home. It's a great book that I would recommend to anyone who wants to read something that makes you feel warm.
