This book was amazing for me when it comes to artwork, the illustrations were of high quality. Unfortunately, The story was too much for my sensible heart, it was disturbing and caused the ruin of my good mood today. It was a horrible depiction of the human nature at its most low level. Kids suffer mainly in this book which I didn't like and didn't want to have those images in my head.
It is a dark horror sci-fi story about a post-apocalyptic earth where humanity is witnessing its own extinction but there is always hope and this time help comes from the stars, galaxy,...euh whatever. 5000 rescue bracelets are sent to 5000 kids (a message that children are the hope of our future) and of course there is a countdown to make things more chaotic. We follow the misadventure of a little boy "Hototo" who wants to become a superhero and his big sister "Tala" who will do anything to protect her innocent brother from the harsh truth of this world.
