I liked the first part of this story, it was a story of a girl,Siobhan, whom mother decided to leave her family for another younger man, yes it wasn't the father this time, so our heroine in order to get some attention from her dad started to steal but she is always caught by the Irish Garda. Siobhan dreams of a new life, a new home and thanks to her talent of writing, she will get an opportunity to live her American dream but is this really what she was looking for?
I liked the first part of this book, it was going so well about writing and everything unlike the second part of the story where Siobhan's character got so worse. She is a big bother and a bore with all her insecurities and the desire to feel wanted and blah, blah, blah,in addition to all her stupid decisions about her life. I found no sense to this character and at the end I just wanted to tell her that she got what she deserved. I didn't like her and the ending was so lame. What I could not understand is Connor in all this story, why is he there?
Anyway, I was waiting for something better when I started this book, I liked the author's writing style, it is the only part that I trully enjoyed all along my reading and I hope that she will write better stories.
