It was difficult not to finish this book because I fell in love with the cover and I hate it when I don't finish a book but here it started really slow and it was so confusing, I got lost because of the amount of things happening and sometimes it felt like not making any sense to me with the subplots, the background story of the MC and everything with The Way, the religion and the politics, it was boring and I didn't care, I'm sorry.
I respect the author's hard work and I own her other books in French like "La Chasseuse de Livres" that I intend to read. I might try it again if it is translated into French.
